Simple websites with Radiant CMS
"Most companies need a simple web sites. They don't have the money, the time or skills to develop a super complex website. Moreover, visitors often want to go straight to the point." My idea is to use the Radiant open source CMS and adapt it to make it reflect 90% of the needs : a websites with 3 to 5 pages and a contact form. More features can be added but the idea is to keep it simple, for the visitor and for the client. It has never been so easy to maintain a website thanks to Radiant. Nasov.net Free hosting service
"Nasov.net was a free hosting service I set up and administrated at home (2002 and 2003). It uses a Linux Distribution (E-Smith and then Gentoo), Apache web server, PHP, Mysql, a C program, a FTP Server and monitoring system. Anyone could subscribe online and create his own space to deploy a website. This project required skills in network and Linux administration, maintenance and the ability to provide on-line support."
